Rawhide 3x400’ B/W Sound £70 Made in 1938, this has the accolade of being the legendary American Baseball player Lou Gehrig’s only screen role, which he performs nicely as well, it’s the story of a several ranchers being threatened by a bunch of bandits, but they organise themselves to fight back. This is a rare Blackhawk Films imported print
The Adventures of Captain Marvel 12x400’B/W Sound B+/B £300 Wow what a find, the complete Derann release of this 1941 adventure serial starring Tom Tyleras ‘Captain Marvel’, he’s tasked to guard a magic talisman from being used for evil, all 12 chapters!
No Name City – Paint Your Wagon Promo 200’ Colour Sound £25 P/N: slight fade Another rare find, this behind the scenes short looking at the making of the 1969 musical western starring Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood & Jean Seberg, unusual!
Fantasia – Dance of the Hours B+£30 Good colour, although the print is a bit grainy in places (source material, I’m guessing) of this complete sequence from the Disney animated 1940 classic, rare find now!
The Mummy 200’ B/W Sound B+/B £25 U8 release from this 1932 Universal Horror classic starring Boris Karloff, editing is excellent as well!
Room Service 2x400’ B/W Sound B+ £45 OB Marx Bros. comedy from 1938, the boys are trying to put on a new play, but have run out of money, so they must find a way to stay in their Hotel room until it starts!
A Night at the Opera 2x400’ B/W Sound B+ £55 OB Expertly edited M.G.M. Marx Bros. classic from 1935, this has many of the famous routines intact, the onboard room that fills up with many people all at once, ‘the party of the third part’ routine etc, just brilliant!
Journey into Spring 600’ Colour Sound B+ £45 OB Nice colour on this DCR print of this 1958 British Transport Film unit, it tells the cycle of the seasons in the land around Selborne in Hampshire home town of Gilbert White country parson & naturalist, rare print!
U.F.O. – Psychobombs 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £25 OB Good colour on this Techno release of the Gerry Anderson sci-fi series, although there are a few printing marks on show at times, but this is becoming a very rare release in good condition nowadays!
Don’t Talk to Strange Men 4x400’ B/W Sound B+ £75 Rare DCR release of this 1962 British crime drama, a girl decides to answer a ringing telephone, only to be taken in by a man on the end of the phone, which turns into a very dangerous situation for her and then her sister, it’s really well made and atmospheric!
The Dark Stairway 2x400’B/W Sound £45 Made in 1954 this was one in a series of films with the banner of stories from ‘Scotland Yard’, narrated by Edgar Lustgarten it’s the story of a murder which was only witnessed by a Blind man, who says he could identify the murderer by his acute sense of smell! Nice P.M. Films release
The Pink Panther – Congratulations It’s Pink 200’ Colour Sound B+ £20 Pretty good colour on this 1967 Pink Panther cartoon, PP finds a baby left behind by campers, he tries to find them
The Pink Panther – Pink Pistons 200’ Colour Sound B+ £20 Pretty good colour on this 1966 Pink Panther cartoon, PP buys a multi gadget car, has an argument with an old lady, then races her!
Mr. Damphool – A Cautionary Tale 200’ B/W Sound B+/B £30 Extremely rare vintage quirky Railway safety film starring ‘Mr. Damphool’ (Damn Fool!, get it), it shows what you should do, and if you’re stupid what not to do when working on the Railway
Blackmoor Vale Steam’s Again 200’ Colour Sound B+ £25 Pretty good colour on this P.M. Films Railway release, filmed in 1976 this documents the return of the Blackmoor Vale steam engine after restoration, pretty rare now!
The Mail Goes Through 200’ B/W Sound B+/B £25 OB Rare Walton release of this 1947 animated film, two reckless villains try and rob a mail train, but are foiled in the act
Movietone – Treasure of Chartwell 200’ Colour Sound B+ £25 This looks at Churchill’s home, with vintage footage of the great man relaxing at home, very rare now!
Force 10 From Naverone 400’ Colour Sound B+ £25 OB Good colour on this 1978 WW2 action thriller starring Robert Shaw, Harrison Ford & Edward Fox

The Great Grape Ape Show- The Invisible Ape – Public Grape No.1 400’ Colour Sound B+ £25 OB Nice colour Techno Film release of this 1975 Hanna-Barbera cartoon
In the Dog House 400’ B/W Sound B+ £25 OB Very rare Columbia print of this Andy Clyde comedy from 1934, Andy re-marries but the new wife doesn’t like his grandson’s dog

Melody Time – Tex Beneke and the Glenn Miller Orchestra 400’ B/W Sound B+ £25 OB Made in 1947 after Glenn Miller’s death, they play all the big hits like ‘Moonlight Serenade’, ‘In the Mood’, ‘American Patrol’ etc., nice DCR print too!
Keep ‘Em Flying 400’ B/W Sound B+ £25 Nice U8 print of this 1941 Abbott & Costello comedy as they join the Army Air Corps, and have some funny adventures
Solid Serenade 200’Colour Sound B+ £20 OB Nice colour on this Walton print of the 1946 Tom & Jerry cartoon, Tom starts serenading his girlfriend which irks Jerry!
Posse Cat 200’ Colour Sound B+ £20 OB Nice colour print of this 1954 Tom & Jerry cartoon, Tom is tasked ‘Out West’ to stop Jerry from rustling food, some hope!
Movietone News in Cinemascope 200’ Colour Sound B+/B £25 OB SCOPE Derann print which shows the opening by Queen Elizabeth II of the Forth Road bridge, then it’s onto the Farnborough Air Show where vintage planes and modern planes share the same air space
Cock-a-Doodle Dog 200’ Colour Sound B+ £30 OB Derann print of this madcap 1951 Tex Avery cartoon, a sleep deprived Bulldog just wants to sleep, but an over enthusiastic Rooster just keeps a crowing, some brilliant visual gags, as you’d expect from a Tex Avery cartoon
Hollywood A to Z 400’ (220’) B/W Sound B+ £25 OB This Blackhawk Films release uses newsreel footage (Movietone) to show some of the biggest stars of the day (1930’s to 40’s I’m guessing), it starts of with Will Rogers talking about his recent trip, rare in the U.K.
You Ain’t Heard Nothing Yet 400’ (300’) B/W Sound B+/B £25 Reel Images American import, which consists of Al Jolson singing some of his greatest songs direct to camera, looking at his clothes I’m guessing it’s sometime in the 1940’s,really unusual& rare!
