"HIP ACTION" (W.B., 1933)
This is the third entry in the second series of shorts made by legendary golfer Bobby Jones for Warner Brothers. While the series was ostensibly intended as instructional pieces to help the viewer improve their game each short featured contemporaneous Hollywood stars being coached by Jones though in truth the appearance of these celebrities made the films more commercially viable to general audiences. This short features W.C. Fields and Warner Oland. This is a brand new print on mylar stock which will be shipped on a lab core.

"LARCENY INC." (W.B., 1942)
Of the three comedies Edward G. Robinson made for Warner Brothers this one is arguably the best and funniest. E.G.R. and two of his parolee cronies purchase a luggage store strategically positioned near the safe belonging to the bank next door; objective....well you can imagine. In addition to being laugh out loud funny the screenplay was authored by the team of Sid and Laura Perelman (Sid having authored some of the memorable dialogue in a pair of the earliest and best Marx brothers films for Paramount). "Larceny, Inc." features a host of familiar Hollywood faces including Anthony Quinn, Jane Wyman and Broderick Crawford.
This is s composite print which includes new replacement footagel on mylar stock. The original material has a handful of unobtrusive single to minimal frame splices which do not compromise continuity. Likewise the occasional hairline black scratch appears and then disappears. Ultimately a really decent print of a not often offered item. It can be shipped with or without reels (spools to you fellows in the U.K.) at your preference.
