Had a great time at Blackpool - wonderful to meet other film collectors, many of whom I now consider real friends.
My collecting has been more targeted of late, so less scatter-gun purchasing for me. I picked up Derann's 400ft release of Quatermass and the Pit for the excellent price of £18 (considering it is on LPP with perfect colour) to add to the other Hammer films I've been collecting; Walton's 400ft cut down of The 39 Steps remake, again with excellent colour, for a fiver from Nigel; and Perry's release of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, which is a Perry's release I had yet to find.
Oh, and I won DCR's full feature of Oh Mr Porter in the raffle on Saturday night, which is an excellent Derann reprint with sharp, bright picture and excellent sound.
What did other collectors pick up?
