Yes it may well sell for thousands but to start it at that price is to me, is just ridiculous.
I will add though, it looks a very fine print. It'll be interesting to see.

There isn't a film on the planet i'd pay this sort of money for.
I think with the whole Star Wars thing, it's the fanatics that often buy cine prints, 8 or 16mm even if they dont have a projector. It's in a category of its own.

For that sort of money I would expect it to be on spools.

And with a free projector

its a forum members film, and would entertain a bid off a forum member off ebay, so you could get it for less, but it would need to much much less, nice looking print though and in scope, and considering the film title, the price is "out of this world "....................

It looks a very nice print and if your in the market for Star Wars on 16mm then it's the one to have but at this price tag (or slightly less) you would have to seriously love it, being realistic though it's not worth the price and the seller is chancing it , I'm sure some decent offers will be on the table though, at the same time it does generate interest on ebay and gets us all talking it, hopefully someone will get the print at a price they are happy with,Mark

It may very well be worth that price to someone who is a fan of the series. At least it is the feature and not a digest as some of those go for gross amounts.
