Can any UK members recommend a supplier of 16mm splicing tape? I have had a delivery today and have basically been sent two rolls of cheap cellotape that shows lines as you pull it off the roll, the last roll I bought was clear and thinner and did the job perfectly but the supplier is no longer around, what I was sent is very poor, Mark

Only a long shot but Jackroe used to do splicing tape,whether or not they do 16mm any more not sure but they do do 35mm which does fit some splicer’s.
You might have to buy a job lot/roll it’s been a while since I bought any.
C H C they do tape I believe but not used myself.
Paul Foster used to but to be honest I have no idea if he is still around.
Few thoughts.

Mark, im certain Gwyn is correct with Paul Foster, my last few rolls came from Paul and it was the Jackro tape which is by far the best.

Paul Foster is still advertising CIR 16mm splicing tape rolls at £4.99. The last lot I had were marked Jackro.

I did email Paul and he got back to me today so I'll order some from him. It's the proper tape not like the crap I've been sent from CHC, I knew I shouldn't have contacted them, every order I've had has pretty much gone wrong, I did get an email back saying he does have the proper tape, why not send it then instead of poundland cellotape? JOKER!!!!! Mark

Can’t believe you were sent the wrong splicing tape from C H C makes you wonder what it’s all coming to……..
Glad you got it sorted with Paul Foster,never had a problem with him.
