I found out about it just now when my wife screamed very loudly. Already a bid, but she LOVES Elvis and this movie...

I placed a bid (higher than what it went for) with 12 seconds to go and apparently it did not take. I saw the high bidder screen then when it ended it said "item has ended" and no trace of me bidding. Contacted Ebay without any helpful assistance. I am not sure what kind of bull this is, but I am beyond upset.

Don, im sorry you didn't win this one, this has happened to me before, you put in your high bid and they dont register for some reason. Unfortunately, ebay wont give a monkeys as long as they got the sale and there money.

Tom, I'm in tears over this one, not for me, but my wife. Will another come along? Possibly. You can't be sure though.

My Mrs always says, "it wasn't meant to be", easier said though, all we can do is keep an eye for mate, Mark found one, hopefully another may come up some time.
I often felt the same way when i think of prints i've sold, especially my 16mm print of the rock for Kampuchea concert, it was just a fantastic print with every big name in the music industry playing live, and hosted by Billy Connolly. These days i dont let it bother me anymore.

Sorry to hear you lost this one Don,EBay can be be a real pain in the ass , I reckon most of us have lost a bid or two chasing that elusive film.Only a thought but maybe you were bidding against one of these automatic apps or bots whatever they call them that seem to win regardless?
I’m sure another copy will come along we will all keep our eyes peeled for you.
