For those interested in expanding their cache of VS items I have this (second) print of "NEW YORK CONFIDENTIAL" (Edward Small,/W.B. release, 1955). It's a seldom seen film which is unfortunate as it boasts both a terrific cast (Broderick Crawford, Richard Conte, Anne Bancroft, Mike Mazurki) as well as an unusually violent narrative. The print does have VS though there are no apparent warp or sag issues and thus it projects free of problems. It is complete from opening W.B. logo to end title. It appears to be an original (presumably not a dupe) and has the occasional single to minimal frame spice as well as the typical hair thin black line at intervals. The audio track is fine. VS notwithstanding I would say without hesitation that the print still has a great deal of life remaining.
