I begged Derek Simmonds to bring this out on super 8, he told me it was too "seasonal", and Christmas movies are hard to sell, considering Channel 4 usually show this in the middle of summer, I think he was wrong, but once he had made his mind up, nothing was going to change it, what a shame, even a 600' digest would work well, the film is so episodic, so an easy cut, now if there was anyone bringing out new 600' digests, perhaps this would be a good title to go for!

I couldnt agree more. This would surly have been one of the best titles Derann could have released.
At present time i am still on the look out for this one or the second one on 16 as i dont have any xmas films on 16. There is a good print on ebay of santa clause the movie, unfortunatly i didnt go much on it but the print looks first class.
I'll start another thread of my own wants later rather than hijack this one any further.
