Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to embed or attach a jpeg image within a PM to a fellow forum member? It is very easy to do this for a post, but I have not been able to do this with a PM....has anyone figured this out? If so, it would be great if someone could walk me through the process on how to do so.

Strangely, I do not think it is possible ... Think I tried and failed too

I've tried also, using cut and paste, but I didn't get the paste option come up.

It has worked for me, but I’m using an iPhone, which may make a difference.

Thanks Vidar — yes, the iPad should be the same, I would think. On my iPhone, under the same symbol that allows you to text or email an image, there should also be a “Copy” option, which you would then select. Then you go to the posting where you want to paste the image — you press your finger in the posting area, which should bring up a prompt to “paste,” which you then select. Your image then should be pasted into the posting.

Would you be able to send a "test" with an image to Vidar or myself using your iphone? I just tried sending one to Robert using my iphone.
I included myself as a recipient and I can only see the name of the image in the body of the email, but no picture....

John! The problem is attaching Pictures in Private Messages. I have tried without success. It´s no problem to attach a Picture or a file to a post

Thanks Mats — my apologies, as I had it in my head that we were talking about posts, etc. (It must’ve been late in the evening when I originally responded, and my brain was shot due to travel, etc., this week 😄)

Test Picture

Great test pictures! But as Mats stated, it is the PM that is the problem....adding images to regular forum posts works well.
It doesn't seem like it can be done for PM's. Oh well...

I don't believe with the current set up it can be done either Greg.

Maybe besides a private messaging facility, we may need a private media facility adding to allow it to happen.
