Very sad, fondly remember her from many fine films

That is very sad, i only watched the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2 yesterday. 69 is not even old these days.
Also remember her well in Black Christmas.

Very sad; the cause of her death has not been announced.

No age at all these days. Very sad news indeed.

This is sad - as I read somewhere that she had been out of the public eye for sometime and had fallen on hard times.

My niece and myself had actually paid to have a photo taken with her at the London Film and Comic Con in July this year, my niece had actually met her a few years back and had a photo with her and she said she was a lovely friendly lady, she will be missed, especially the fans of the first four "Superman" movies, which I am one.

It must be especially saddening then for yourself Barry and your niece having met her and spoken with her.
I'm with you and probably the majority of film lovers in that I really enjoyed the first four Superman films too.
I have the first 3 on Super 8mm and will be giving them another viewing soon now based on this very sad news.
