I suppose this very much depends on what kind of films we are referring to when we recollect before answering this survey of Vidar's.

Overall I said 80's, but if I was thinking of Musicals it would be 50's or 60's, if I were referring to Disney films, it would be 90's and even 00's as well as all of the rest!

I get that, that is why you can add several. Just to get an overview and just for fun, testing this option

Hello ,

Difficult to answer this question.....

From my side concerning Disney's animated, there are a lot of shorts from approx 29 to 40 which are great.
My choice from Mains features are from 38 to 60 arround . There are some exceptions later as "litle mermaid", "Roger Rabbit", etc... . Pixar is not animation I like.
All Disney's Art of Animation is concentrated within some particular shorts in Sillies Symphonies (around 75 titles) which was the laboratory for further features.
My personnal choice is definitly Pinocchio (as feature) due to the story and great quality of backgrounds.
Concerning shorts, may be 50 titles are on the top, as "Moth and The Flame", "Music Land", "Cookie Carnival", etc....
Also, some shorts (around 40 titles) from "On The Front Lines" era (exemple, Der's Furher Face 1943, etc...) are from good to excellent.

I know it was only made as a test, but I thought it was cool. It is interesting to get to know the members better. Even though every survey won't have all relevant options and maybe be ambiguous, I think it is interesting to get hints of the interests of others.

Maybe we could have some kind of a regular (weekly?) survey? I thought about some examples of surveys:
* Which gauges do you collect
* Which gauge is your MAIN gauge?
* Which kind of films do you collect (cartoons, western, horror, comedy etc)
* If you could choose only one type of film in your collection, what would you keep? (cartoons, western, horror, comedy etc)
* What kind of film treatment do you use (nothing, film guard, film renew, WD-40, ...)
* For how long have you collected films?
* Which projector types do you have? (Elmo, Eumig, B&H, Fumeo...)
* Where do you (mostly) buy your films? (eBay, dealers, friends, club)

I am sure there are loads of other types of questions if we think about it, but here we would have a couple of months of surveys if we had a one weekly.

Is it silly, or a good idea?

Sounds like a very good idea to me Eivind.

It's good way for gathering data confidentially and without any recourse. :))
