Early Days of Collecting. Memories.

The other night I watched from you tube a film that was I think released by Derann, back in the mid 70s. Journey To The Center Of Time. Stared
Scott Brady ... Stanton
Anthony Eisley ... Mark Manning
Gigi Perreau ... Karen White
Abraham Sofaer ... Dr. 'Doc' Gordon

The same team were also responsible for The Mighty Gorga which I think Powell Films released. Time is the better film, but only slightly.

The super 8 version was 4x400ft. The super 8 version was the better looking too. I use a six foot screen for film and as I recall it wasn't too bad.

More memories. Which came first the chicken or the egg? Or in this case the film or projector. My first projector was the ELMO ST1200 M/O bought from Derann and NO films to show till my first hired ones arrived about ten days later. This was a composite reel of shorts and the feature Kronos. Shown on the six foot screen what a great thrilling moment at that time the TV was about 19". Here's a poster for the film
