I have to say a sincere and truly warm hearted welcome to our latest member here,.. Mr Maurice Leakey.

Maurice is someone who I doubt anyone in this hobby for longer than even just a few weeks, will of course either not know, or not at least have heard of in some capacity or another.
Maurice is synonymous with film and projectors across all of the gauges, and is true ambassador of this great hobby of ours who I know will not mind me pointing out, is also now, one of our most senior active members within our great hobby, with both a wealth of knowledge and a lifetime of memories to hopefully share here.

Any chap that both actively pursues and loves their lifetime hobby well into retirement to the extent that they then drive their beloved machines over 200 miles as a round trip to receive an annual professional service, truly demonstrates their devotion and total commitment to this hobby and is both remarkable and completely devout to the hobby.
Therefore Maurice receives my absolute highest respect and regard and hopefully yours also!

Maurice has a huge inventory of both films and projectors in his private collection and is someone I have learned a great deal from since returning to the hobby.

I am truly absolutely thrilled Maurice has at last decided to take a look in here, and I sincerely hope he enjoys it here enough that he remains a member here with regular invaluable input.

We can all learn and share a great deal of information surrounding our hobby, on all of the various gauges, by having Maurice with us here!
