Peter Vaughan 4 April 1923 - December 6, 2016

Best remembered by me for Grout in Porridge, but one of those who could turn his hand to anything. More on TV than films. The good character actors are getting fewer.

I still love the smell of film in the morning

Ive got copies of Porridge (optical) and Straw Dogs - he was a brilliant actor - he added class to every role and film or TV show he was in.

Another fabulous actor sadly taken from us all in this horrible year.
