Sadly David I am working on the event weekend, but hopefully someone who is attending from either here or from the film tech forum will be able to assist you with this one.

Thinking about it, I don't even own a video camera these days anyhow, just a pocket digital camera that takes short video clips but not to any particular standard.

It'd be nice if someone who had all the pro kit could video one of these events.
Does Lee Mannering not have such kit David?

Perhaps if everyone attending the convention, took just a few photos and some short video footage on their pocket digital cameras, you'd still end up with a very nice mixed and varied montage of video footage and photographs when all pooled together days later David

This then could be edited by anybody once merged, into whatever you were seeking from this venture.

Most pocket cameras still have an ability to shoot some short video clips in hi resolution in this day and age and indeed many modern day smartphones have similar capabilities.

If each person attending only took 5 shots and a few minutes of video runs, you'd still end up with plenty of each. 😊

Very simple for each person's captures, to then be sent to you by e-mail now also.

I am surprised this evening to learn that Paul didn't think this was a reasonable solution for David's dilemma if he weren't able to find a collector who was prepared to video it professionally while attending????

At the end of the day, it still allows everyone to enjoy their day as they would ordinarily, while also providing a service to their host by way as a Thank you without hardly any disruption to their day or the event itself.

I thought it was a reasonably good solution myself.

What do others think on this?

And of course, what do you think to the idea David?

Could easily be a wrongly put click. I have done that myself but hopefully I have discovered and fixed them all.

Great news David. I'm glad you have now sorted, what you initially wanted for your event. 😊

I'm sure the photos and the footage will be brilliant! 😊😊
