Disney on 16mm/35mm

#1 by Gwyn Morgan , Wed Oct 26, 2016 7:16 pm

On another forum and in the recent Projection magazine the question has been raised as to whether or not Disney would actually still enforce there previous rigid rules regarding the sale of there films.(I am not including the S8 Derran etc).
There have been quite a few available of late on ebay, now which I assume are for private use only.
At one time FACT would jump on anyone selling /owning 166mm let alone 35mm I just wondered if anyone has been bothered or even thought or has knowledge of this anymore.
I know that where I work is regularly visited to make sure we are showing the correct adverts for the day as with this new fangled digital the programme content can change daily.
But my original question obviously regards film.............any thoughts???

I have several 16mm Disney cartoons, bought from Ebay USA and GB, so I don´t believe that Dsney are hunting for these. I know that CHC bought a whole Disney library, some years ago, when they closed in GB.
I have no idea about 35mm prints. I have a couple, bought from other collectors.
