Automatic screen capture machine

I just saw this video of an automatic screen capture device:

The was a cool device! I have too many non-finished arduino/raspberry pi projects, but this was a neat idea. Just have to make sure the film path is perfect so no film is damaged. Cool to have screenshots from all my films.

The most perfect way for digital transfer from film Eivind!

Thanks for posting!! Not sure I would have included that terribly annoying bleep though each time a frame is captured!

I cannot imagine how many days it would take to digitally capture GWTW using this technique either!

My plan was to capture for instance 100 pictures from each film so I could add it to a database etc so I didn't have to manually take screenshots but rather select some of the automatically produced ones. I guess a complete scan would take forever :-)
