Thanks guys!

I'm an ex pat from the UK living in the San Francisco bay area.
I used to collect years ago and then left the UK and gave up most of my stuff, except a few films that I stashed at my mums that I completely forgot about. Was over recently in Manchester and rediscovered them and that was enough to spur me back in :)

I work in the film industry and started out life as a projectionist and now work in post. I currently have a media home theatre room and as the weather here is so fab, starting to put together plans for an outdoor screen in our garden for fun movie nights.
Look forward to collecting again and the insight you guys have.

Cheers,

Stuart

Always good to hear from a fellow Cinema Projectionist from within the Industry Stuart.
I am well out of it now after 45+ years and don't miss it one bit as it is now.
I miss it as it once was though. The Digital Era has killed it.
Nice to hear you have your own home theatre.
Post us some pics when you get a chance.
We are always interested to see them.
Welcome back to the hobby.

Welcome Stuart! I've got a great friend that lives in San Fran, loves it! I've been out to visit a couple of times, just gorgeous! If I remember correctly, somewhere in or near the mission district. Enjoy the beautiful weather!
