True for the film hire. I used Derann's block booking scheme. When they closed the library I used D.J. Hurst for years he had a great selection.

I must admit I would have been upset if I had bought 'The Mighty Gorga' if you have seen this you might agree.


I still love the smell of film in the morning

Yes David I agree.
Even Powell Films had Film Hire Library as did many others including PM Films.
They were great as you could try before you buy in a sense.
I have save myself a LOT OF DOSH due to the existence of Film Libraries.
A lot of the 8mm prints were terrible at one time but oh so expensive.
A real rip-off in fact.
