We take for granted Gwyn what a lovely country we live in, from Scotland to Lizard, a beautiful land, getting smaller as we speak for
new estates for people coming in, well done the Welsh on the vote by the way, boyo. Also what a lovely holiday you must have had, hope you took the videos to enjoy the films and sites to compare.

I guess I am lucky now living on the coast.
I am really close to St.Cyrus which is a lovely natural sandy beach unspoilt
by seaside commercialism. No shops No Buildings No Fun Fairs.
Just a few scattered fisherman's cottages.
Add to that the fact its a Nature Reserve what more could one need ?

I must admit Devon and Cornwall are my two favourite spots in this still, very beautiful country of ours Gwyn.

I know exactly what you mean regarding no internet also Gwyn.
I'd been after Toy Story for a few years around 3 summers ago, someone just pipped me to the post on one I was bidding on that Ian was selling back then. I tried my uppermost to get a signal when I was in one part of rural Cornwall out with my wife and the dog one morning as the film was gathering momentum and getting ever nearer to the finish time.
It wasn't however getting me anywhere.
I'd place my bid a week earlier when still in Manchester and figured no one would have been prepared to pay any more than myself for it.
I was wrong!
The very last 3 seconds was when my bid was beaten and I was gutted when I found out later on returning to the cottage.

I let Ian know of my severe disappoint and Ian being Ian found an even better print some six months later or so and I finished up getting that one instead! 😊😊😊

All's well that ends well as they say, but those signals there, ...it ain't London or Manchester that's for sure!! Lol.

Hugh, I am fortunate in that it was not a holiday my daughter has a large static caravan at this site, and it's half hour drive away,so we try to go when their family is not using it.living where I do I have the moors ten minutes away if that and the coast likewise in the other direction so I ain't complaining. 😀😀
