New curtains

#1 by Eivind Mork , Sun Jun 26, 2016 12:58 pm

The living room at the cottage is my main screening room. The curtains there have not been light proof which has made it difficult unless it is dark outside. Living as far north as in Norway, it is not completely dark anytime during summer.

Today we got new light proof curtains. My mother in law did the sewing. This takes the film conditions to a completely new level during the summer months! Really happy with the change!

Awesome! I've always wanted to visit Norway, have always been fascinated with the seemingly endless hours of sunlight.

Hi Elvind, you could always fit black out roller blinds, I did when I Iived at home, then when I had my own place, I found it
was a simple matter of blocking out the light with an 8'x4' sheet of hardboard that exactly fit the window opening, making the
room as black as a tomb. Although those are nice curtains, your Mother in Law certainly made a super job.
