GOOD NEWS ... PAUL FOSTER IS BACK.

#1 by David Hardy ( deleted ) , Wed Jun 01, 2016 9:47 am

I am pleased to let you all know that Paul Foster is now back with us.
He sent me a PM after my enquiring about him.
His website is still up and running with some price reductions to be had.
Paul states he will not be doing much this year due to a house move later
this year.
So there you go. Its up to you now to support him.

I emailed Paul a few days ago and he thanked me for asking how he was - he explained that he is moving down south and that he is not looking to buy any major collections this year - but down sizing his current stock for the move - he seemed in good spirits - so I've sent him an email about a print - so let's try and support the guy - I never had an issue with him or his films - and if there was a problem he reimbursed me or offered a credit against something else - no question.

I have also rung and enquired about a film, just waiting for Paul to check it for me.

Don't know if I'm the first to order but just ordered The Great Escape from Paul and a couple of rolls of tape for my CIR splicer, come on guy's give the man you're support, the first thing I said to him was welcome back and I meant it.

Gutted he won't be selling anymore Filmguard, he explained it had gone up with a bang (in price, not literally), but there is always Jackroe, a bit pricey but needs must I suppose.

It's great news that Paul is back. I don't know how many more films I can collect due to a severe shortage of space; I have one on the way. My wife comments that the house is like a warehouse or museum. When I want something, my wife always gives in. Whatever the future, I shall always be grateful to Paul, for advising me on the take up reel I needed when I was new to 16mm, and for supplying me with some great features, all accurately described.
