I bought Film Renew from Urbanski some three years ago, but now he can not ship to me anymore. Anyone can tell me if Solvon, which he can ship, will do the job? What I mainly use it for is prints that are unsteady
Thanks

Only use Filmguard, it's great but not so kind to tape splices
P.S. Filmguard is very good for unsteady prints, my King Kong was a little unsteady a couple of years ago so just ran it though with the old Filmguard and it worked a treat
Those can't be shipped apparantly. Heard Solvon was a bit dangerous, so very unsure how to get anything shipped to me

Pass on that one Vidar, don't know if you can get anything shipped from the USA, no chance with the UK they have cracked down big style over what you can and cannot ship
I agree with you Del. I use Filmguard, too. I haven't needed to import it for a while but was able to get it on Ebay and had several sent to Australia with no issues.
Agreed Del. Filmguard can at times be a bit of a bummer with ordinary Hama tape splices but I've found the perfect solution is to use Jackro tape with a C.I.R. splicer.
Since the switch over, I still await my first detachment. Happy days.

Del ...did your print of KING KONG get so unsteady that he fell off the Empire State Building ?
