Just watched a famous illustrator

I just watched a famous (in Norway at least) illustrator in action. Arild Midthun, a professional illustrator most known for his Donald Duck illustrations attended a show here in Lambertseter in Oslo, Norway, where I live. The subway line which runs just outside my apartment is 50 years old which was celebrated with a big show with the mayor present. Midthun has drawn a story about the subway to this jubilee.

But the reason I write about it here is that he for some reason, among many other drawings, drew two well known characters in Donald Duck's car while I watched :-)

And my subway loving 9 year old son also got the subway cartoon with Donald signed by Midthun. A cool day for sure!

Expecting a new projector this week, I brought some Super 8 films back home as I normally have it all at the cabin but wanted to test it as soon as it arrives. Now when I saw this and got inspired, I regret I didn't bring any Laurel and Hardy :-)
