Relaxing Music

#1 by David Ollerearnshaw , Sat Apr 16, 2016 3:19 pm

I've just had a 'quiet' 60 odd minutes listening to film music. When I say quiet I mean REALLY LOUD

James Bond Medley

Lawrence Of Arabia

Superman

Raiders March

Ben Hur

Tom & Jerry

Imperial March

The Magnificent Seven

The Dambusters

The Good The Bad And The Ugly

Mission Impossible

Jaws

Let's Carry On

William Tell

Where Eagles Dare

Zulu

Crank up the volume, sit back close your eyes and relax. The films will appear in your imagination.

I still love the smell of film in the morning

Dometines I relax to Superman (or any John Williams really). I have a soft spot for Stu Phillips' Battlestar Galactica.

But mostly my relax music is Megadeth, Avantasia or Amon Amarth, but film scores are cool

Not exactly relaxation music, but I just got back into collecting vinyl records (due to an anniversary gift of a portable record player from my wife) and I picked up the soundtrack from the 1980 film "Times Square". The music on this LP is a combination of punk and early new wave tunes. I am a big fan of music from James Bond films (main title songs and incidental music too.) In general I've always been a fan of soundtrack music going back to my youth.

I never stopped collecting soundtracks and film score music on Vinyl LPs.
I reckon I now have around 600 of them on vinyl now.
I also have around 100 + on CDs. I don't like these as much as I do Vinyl though.
Also some Reel to Reel Tapes and Pre-Recorded Cassettes.

Graham It came up while I was listening to the other music.

David A vinyl record shop is now in Barnsley and they have a good selection of music.

Big fan of Ron Goodwin and all those mentioned.

A great theme by Ron
