As the subject title asks,I was wondering if "The Battle of Britain" feature film was ever released in Super-8 or 16 mm. I have the trailer in 16 mm but that's all.I think it would have made a great digest.

Hi Doug, yes it was, as a super 8 optical sound feature in colour Cinemascope. My old mate Tony Churcher had one
in his collection, he was delighted with it and of course its rarity value. On 16mm, usually in standard or 'scope versions,
just about everything, bar the latest films, turns up on 16mm.
Doug, yes Battle of Britain is on 16mm a friend of mine had a full scope version a while back. There was also one listed on eBay in Canada with shipping worldwide,I did consider it but other purchases prevailed.📽📽📽📽📽

Thanks gents for the info on TBOB. Hopefully I'll find it one day on either Super-8 or preferably 16 mm.
That would be a great scope feature, we have the long trailer on super 8 but thats all we could ever find.

The Battle of Britain.............What for?
Hi Doug, The Battle of Britain is out there in 16mm. I have an uncut 16mm flat LPP print in my collection. Scope prints are also around - there was, or still may be, one on e-bay. Not sure of film stock or if flat or scope. I bought my print from a collector friend selling his entire collection, not inexpensive, but is mint, no lines, scratches, warping, etc. This was always one of my favorites.
