Can't Put Questions to the 'Film Tech' Forum

#1 by Ian Partridge , Thu Mar 17, 2016 11:59 am

I don't have much luck with attempts to join that forum.

They have lots of professional 'film handling' types, modestly self-described as 'god' and similar. The site is invaluable for research on technical stuff, including questions made over the years by previous owners of the very same projector I want advice on, which is very enlightening. But no help as I want to ask a new question.

It may be that I joined years back under a different email so this may be the reason. I got a password but the forum admin never approve so I cannot log in and submit my enquirey.

I have put a question elsewhere on this forum in the 35mm section so knowledgeable Reel Magic members may help?

Ian, I'm not sure how many of us here own 35mm equipment, but I know that IF anyone here can help you with a question, that they WILL. You're in the right place. At least you can post some decent photos (easily I might add) here at this forum!

Ian Partridge sais Thank You!

Hi Ian, the folk on here that would be of help would be Vidar and Dave Hardy, Dave especially as he is a trained Projectionist and
well versed in the "big" gauge. Hope you can get it sorted.
