UK TV viewers will be no doubt familiar with the Stannah Stairlift ad, it begins when Harold, a pleasant looking elderly chap takes
in his morning post, a new lens for his reflector telescope, he gets on his stairlift and off we go, he gets to the quarter landing and its
pitch black outside! Still he carries on regardless, eventually getting to his destination, the spare room come observatory, he minces
in with his acquisition, fits it to his telescope to do a bit of star gazing, his wife enters the room and she looks as though she's never been in it before, he invites her to peep through his telescope. A not very good ad for stair lifts, I know they are slow, but it took that man about ten hours to claw his way up thirteen stairs! Not to mention the continuity, or lack of in this case, no editors were injured
during the making of this film, but there should have been.
