Does this happen to you?

Today I had an hour to spare so I decided to bench test my copy ofOklahoma as in the box with reel one was the head of reel two.
I knew that the film had been broken down from one long play reel prior to purchase, and what I am discovering is that all the leaders are joined on the front and you got it tails joined on end of last reel. There is made up leader and tails on the broken down reels.Does this occur often I wonder or just on my new purchases, certainly fun attaching right header and tails to correct reels.
Still did give me a good chance to give the film a clean and redo any dodgy splices etc.Fun.📽📽📽📽📽

It's quite a common practice Gwyn on Super 8mm features I have received on very large spools.
It's good in a way, as it saves them being put elsewhere and then years later, being lost forever.
