yes both very sad news to me here this morning, as well as something I am completely miffed by?

Robert has been in the game a very long time. Surely he won't be pulling away from the hobby, will he??

If this is the case and Robert is still very much interested in film, then I am completely bemused as to why he would want to leave our forum right at its infancy.

It's one thing when a member signs out here, but to lose a member of our administration team here for good...well that's just disastrous I'd say.

I knew Robert wanted to take a break from here for a time while he may have had more pressing needs to address, but to sign off for good and unregister, well that has come as a total shock to me!

Anyhow good luck to you Robert in whatever ventures you are now pursuing. You will be sorely missed.

Very sad when someone leaves the forum, Robert ad very good knowledge to the backgrounds on film, he seems to know a lot the stuff you don't get to here about even in the
gossip columns, and that for me is what makes a film history more interesting, the film is the end product, but what about the blood sweat and tears to get it there. I wish him
well in any new ventures, but hope it would be in something to do with film.

It is sad, but Robert has decided to leave, we lose out on an excellent contributor, I just hope he doesn't regret his actions. Good luck
