BOND SCORES

It has always been a thought of mine, what a set of film reels they would have been, if the film scores of the Bond films
had been done, just the titles with scores, a sure fire seller to me, what do I know.

I've got the original Bond theme by John Barry on 45rpm ; it's not the same version that you get on the theme tune compilations.

Hugh "great minds think alike and fools seldom differ ". I too thought about this years ago.
It would have been great fun just to have reels of Super 8mm film title themes compilations for different
genres of films. We could have had an Epics and Westerns and War films reels etc, etc.
A bit like the LP soundtrack compilations we used to get.

Robert unfortunately a lot of the soundtrack / film score albums were actually studio re-recordings.
"Where Eagles Dare " on MGM LP is an example of this.
