I though the price of features was out of hand, looking at some posters. $7000 for one.

I still have my posters to "One Million Years B.C." "Valley of Gwangi" "Jason & The Argonauts" etc, and a letter from Hammer Films
on "Years B.C." from 1970 I think, I had another from them, which I left at home when I moved out, enquiring if they were of a mind to
release this film on 8mm with a nice reply from them.
I bet a couple of those are worth a few pounds :-) Are they original posters, they would fetch quite a sum I believe

I too collect "Original Film Posters". Among those in my collection are Jason and the Argonauts / The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad / Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger / Goldfinger / Lawrence Of Arabia to name a few . Here is a very old photo of me with one of them taken around 20 years ago.
I don't actually collect posters. though I do have several for the David Hemmings film 'Alfred the Great ', 1969 I believe it came out. I tried to sell some originals of 50s Rock'N'Roll movies on Ebay, but no interest.
While I don't collect 'original' posters, I have a few for the James Bond films bought from Derann when they seemed to sell anything film related. After writing that I do have a couple of originals bought cheap.
The posters I have mainly are for the titles I also have in film, also bought FOH stills. Having the internet I can download most film posters and print to A3 size. This is a good size to display too.
A Bond is $7999 a little out of my budget. Think the ones from Derann were around the £5 mark.
Now if A BIG IF I won Euromillions and I bought a nice cinema with a house attached to it that would be paradise. Well you can dream.

I just download posters for the 16mm films I have, then print on A4, laminate, and fix to the box. Envious of those who got Jason and the Argonauts, one of my all time favourite movies.
