That was a terrific film Mats, thank you for putting it up, I suppose when you consider, we are all custodians of film, whatever the
gauge. I came across a similar film on YouTube where in America, out in the backwoods, a ghost town I suppose was found to be
a last resting place for tons of "lost" silent film, where a huge hole had been dug and all these prints were just discarded, maddening really, a terrible shame and a damning indictment on how America was treating its own history, some of these films are now in restoration. I'll see if I can locate it again.
Hugh! I think that ghost town is mentioned in this film too. Alaska somewhere, I believe. But a lot of films had kept up fine in the cold ground.
