Hello again Hugh,
How does the stereo head in your fumeo work then Hugh?
Do you have to output through to a stereo amplifier?
What connections do you have on the pj to output in Stereo?

Fumeo! That is a superb machine. Always wanted one but way out of my price range

I was considering these machines myself, but were not easy to find. Saw one, I think it was well over 2000 GBP

Hi Andrew, the head has four connections, but just wired for two, being mono main track. I thought that Phil might have secured a std
8mm model when he tried to introduce a different model onto the market, I live in hope. I only replay through its own amp and a Craven
speaker, the amp is 25 watt, so has plenty of power.
You just missed out on one there Vidar.
Paul Foster advertised and sold a 9119 very quickly on e bay recently. It went over to a collector in the States I believe who is also a big fan of these machines.
It would have been great for us all Hugh if Phil's proposed Classic model had become a reality, even if it had have been only a model for those with deep pockets!
Andrew ... yes its a shame that Phil's Fumeo never got off the ground. This was due to a lack of secured pre-orders which he needed
at the time. I placed myself on the pre-order list. He even offered to sell me the prototype later on but I could not afford it then as I
was off work long term sick.
Wonder who finished up with it David?
Hope Fumeo support it with spares for whoever the lucky individual was!
What price was it suppose to sell for, the Fumeo Phil tried to make happen?

Hi guys,
Thanks for getting this forum up and running guys!
Regarding the Fumeo - which by the way is not overrated - pure Italian craftsmanship...I've got a pedestal HL-2000 that I bought for 300 AUD. I thought that was a bargain as it came with several 6000ft spools and a spare 500W Xenon. Now I only have to find a new house to install it in :-)
Lovely pro 16mm pedestal machine there Ole.
Vidar, I think it was close to 2 or 2 1/2 grand if I remember correctly. I will take a look in my old FFTC as featured back then.
No amp or lens for that price either!
I can't but wonder really how we wander from the most over rated to the best in a few postings?
Do you know one of the best S/8 silent projectors I ever owned, for at least a week, before the transformer died, was the PaulPlus
Super 8, it gave a very bright picture, which after the "HORIPET 8MM " was a revelation, a very steady frame, indeed I judge frame
"bounce" on this little projector (in my very humble opinion) it was rock steady, a lovely machine , but short lived. Surely there are
other users of this projector, marketed under the "Boots" own badge in the UK.
Just as an afterthought, if I remember correctly, it was a long time ago, it had rollers instead of track, I might be wrong, perhaps
other members know more, I know that I was very impressed by it.
