Well done Vidar, three well known titles. I remember when 'Oh God' was being made. George Burns wanted to appear at the London Palladium on his 100th birthday, but died at 99.

Sadly, Smokey was Ride Again, not the first, which was the one I expected

Not too sure how this happened, but i have actually won an LPP hardly used 16mm print of Mississippi burning for a song, (in my view, for a modern movie of this stature). Cant wait to see this one and Gene Hackman is the star along with Willem Defoe, Hackman being one of my all time favourite actors.

Looking for, Joe Kidd / The Outlaw Josey Wales on 16mm. Good prints only.

I have a good feeling about it, its advertised as FLAT, LPP, Good condition, no splices, great colour and from what i gather has only been projected a few times.
The main thing for me is that it's a full theatrical print, so not edited for TV. A good hard hitting thriller based on true events.

Nice one! I have watched this film only once. I didn't know much about this part of American history at that time, and it sure made an impact. Always liked Gene Hackman too :-)

Just got on 8mm the following Derann releases "Summer Nights" in scope from Grease and "Every Things Up To Date In Kansas City" from Oklahoma, I would have put a picture but they are just in white boxes so nothing much to see

My internet has been down for two days, so not been here. Have an Engineer calling tomorrow, as it comes and goes. This morning I ordered a print of 'Adventures of Don Juan (Errol Flynn), . This is probably my all time favourite Flynn movie. I still have a cutting from the TV Times of 1970 when it was shown. It was one of those rare films that I wanted to watch all over again as the end credits were rolling. I have it on VHS and DVD, and now will have a 16mm print.

That is a feeling I love. Enjoy all over again Robert!

Just won an auction last night for a 16mm print of John Ford's "The Quiet Man" which is one of my wife's top 5 movies. No scans of frames or pics during projection, but the description stated "colors warming" and strong sound. Hopefully there is SOME color left of this beautifully shot film. Can't wait to give it a run!

My father was a fan of Victor McLaglen, so liked to watch the fight between him and Wayne.

I received the film yesterday, 3 1600ft reels, no cans. Put reel one on the rewinds and think it is in good condition; more color than I thought is left as I was expecting beet red.

Harpenden was fantastic last weekend. I would say it was much busier than last years and lots of films up for grabs.

I picked up a Perry's release doc I'd been looking for called '100 Years Underground' about the history of the tube made by LU in the 1960s for £20. Plus, completely surprisingly, I found a minty perfect colour 200ft of Saturday Night Fever for £2, a perfect colour Bugsy Malone digest for £5 and a nice B&W Frenzy 200ft for £2. Great haul in my humble estimation!

I've finally found very good colour/sound prints of Castle of Death (200ft) and Vampire Circus (400ft), which John Armer told me play well as Acts I and II of the film.

Schlocky horror + Super 8 = Perfect marriage!

I don't have many Walton prints. The ones I do all have very nice color. I always assume if it's Walton it has good color.

My whole and least amount of super 8mm films I have ever bought from Blackpool were:

Carry On Screaming Feature - Always wanted this one, quality is superb, just in the process of re recording it into stereo
Donald's Snow Fight - Fabulous print
Solid Serenade - Been after a mint print of this for years and this is mint, the first T & J I ever bought back in the late 70's/early 80's
Ferdinand The Bull - Fabulous print
Talos extract from Jason & The Argonauts (Derann print) - absolutely brilliant print, like new, again been after this for a while.
