Since early childhhod I have dreamt about having my own cinema at home. After 50+ years of dreaming we finally built a second floor on our house. Three bedrooms a bathroom a lounge and A CINEMA. It´s not finished yet but Vidar asked me to post some pictures here it is. I have tons of films and projectors to organise. I also have to get a 35mm projector, as I bought a 35mm collection this spring.

Odds are better at getting away with that, for sure :-) I hope for a re-finance of my house soon, then at least I could get it started.

That's fantastic Mats.

The cinema without the projection booth is 6 x 5,3 meters ( 20 x 18 ft ). There are 22 seats and room for long legs. You don´t need a that wide room, but I have shelves for 8 and 16mm films and film related books on the left side. 4 meters will do for 5-6 seats, depending on model. The projection booth is 3,4 x 2 meters ( appx 11 x 9 ft ). If you want a tower for 35mm you´ll need a deeper one. In total the length of my cinema is appx 8 meters ( 27 ft). Thank you, Mats. I have in my head some ideas, need to start trying to put them on paper. Would love 2 seats, walking space between and 2 seats. 4 seats in a row and 3 rows would do it for me I think
