Thanks for all the contributions so far into the "Galleries Sections" they are all great.
However what we need is a bit conversation and interaction. So can I ask you all to scratch you heads a bit
and open up a topic. Posting photos is fun and great and we love them but we don't want to lean to far into this section. However we would like to hear from you
about your experiences of this wonderful and unique hobby FILM COLLECTING and SHOWING THEM !

Well David, I have or had a reputation as the "cine nut" in my home town, I have put on public shows, shows in the home,
shows at work, the Christmas holidays coming, a show on the last day was inevitable. The last one I put on started at 9.00 am
broke for the lads Christmas dinner ( cooked at work in our works hut ) resumed at 1.00pm and continued until 4.00pm finishing
time, the films ranged from "Porridge", "My Name is Nobody", various shorts on behind the scenes stuff, cartoons and loads of porn, indeed I had to engage a young lady in mindless conversation outside our "place of worship" while all these groans were going on inside the cabin, from the film I might add. Anyway, these shows were always well received, as one wag said "It isn't Christmas without Hughie
and his naughty films" What more can I say.

During the heyday of Super 8. I used to talk incessantly about films and film making; so much, that I got 3 people to buy projectors, and one bought a sound cine camera like me, only one with an 8x zoom, whereas mine was 4x.
