I know I am not up to running it alone, so I guess it's over. Will see what happens

It really shouldn't come to this Vidar. Please allow the dust to settle and please do not act in haste. We are approaching the holiday season right now for many, myself included, things will be a little quiet now throughout the remainder of this month and August, but then hopefully the forum will get back on it's feet and more WILL post during the Autumn and Winter months as is always the case with film projection related web sites.

Very true Vidar, it is indeed. All we can hope for in any of this, is that lessons have been learned. We tried it casual, it hasn't worked.
It is time for fresh approach altogether I feel.
Then you may, in time, see shoots of what you seeking from all of this you speak of here.

Also got an email about the domain name reelmagicfilmforum.com which is about to need renewal. I might consider not renewing, if this is the way it goes. I only got a month to do this

Well then you really wouldn't be giving anything sufficient time to see how it went then would you Vidar?
It appears your mind is already made up regrettably despite what anyone else here would add to the scenario.
I don't ever want to run a film forum but please allow the logistics of the site to be discussed before ever dissolving it.
I actually believe you have much that can be built upon here Vidar with this fabulous little film forum.
"C'Mon Baggy, Get With The Beat"
Btw Vidar and to everyone else here who is wishing like me, that this great film forum that Vidar created for us all in the not so distance past, continues successfully for many years to come just yet!
I'd just like it to be known, that if it is a choice between having this forum or not having it, I would be willing to finance the running costs so long as our existing membership including Vidar remain intact and wish for it to be continued for many years to come by showing their support for it.
It really is down to our members here to use it or lose it as they say.
I hope plenty are now vocal enough to show their support for what hopefully will always be in the future a friendly and warm place to visit even if some have felt it hasn't always been this way.
Please get behind the forum guys whenever you possibly can!
I would still want Vidar to be the owner of this forum as it is his baby so to speak, but equally I understand Vidar has neither the desire nor inclination to keep running the thing faced with the pressure and stress he has. He really doesn't need any of this and I'd hope for the future that Vidar gets only what he wished for at the outset of creating this for us all!
"C'Mon Baggy, Get With The Beat"
This would need discussion with Vidar, Tyler should he decide he no longer wishes to finance the venture. It's great to see others supporting this forum though.
I hope it continues for a long long time to come!

Do not sorry about the cost, if we can get back to film talk, I have no trouble paying for it. I asked about the domain, which seem to be included, so it might only be a matter of time before it is solved, without extra cost
I be a happy manifest we get back to film, so thank you for posting proper film post. Keep that up

Yes, Robert didn't want to be here if Hugh was not here. David Ralph also left today and some have requested it, but I hope he give me a few days to see how it turns out. A few left some days ago also. All considered good members by me at least. I will miss them all

I am still here Gwyn for the meantime. Well at least until the VOTE is over.
However I am very excited about seeing more input from other members now in
order to make up for the loss of Hugh and Robert.
So come on all you guys that have moaned and complained lets see your metal ?
I am not going to post anymore Topics for the time being.
I am just taking a back seat in Admin and watch the show for a change.
You can find me sitting in the Centre Front Circle seat which has the best
view of the screen. You better keep the picture in focus with no racking
lines , no film breakdowns and the volume of the sound had better not be to
loud ... OR ELSE I WILL TAKE ACTION AND COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGEMENT.
Don't forget you are dealing with a PRO here with 45 years experience in
the Film Exhibition Industry.
ENJOY THE SHOW !!! ...
Popping in from a hotel room in Vienna using roaming data. Man, I am surprised how fast things can change. But I am ready to talk about film! I am sad very knowledged people who contributed a lot left, but I am certain we can still make this forum great!
I will still be gone on holliday for a few days more, but I will be back!

I would also like to announce that Eivind is now admin, as Robert sadly chose to leave. Thanks for your willingness to help, I know you are a man to be trusted. And you are very grounded. Thanks and welcome to the admins

Bloody hell Eivind you look the spitting image of Alfred Hitchcock.
The most over-rated Commercial Film director in Cinema History.
Taste is different, Psycho, Rear Window, To Catch a Thief is all films I enjoy. I rate him higher than you, David but he is not my favorite director either.
