Andrew, it was a bit of a gamble as the UK Ebay vendor knew nothing of the condition. Fortunately, it's fine!

Is it one of the "Robins Nest" series Jon, they did quite a few of behind the scenes films. It looks quite a nice print in excellent condition, well done that man.

Basically Hugh, it starts with the Fox logo, then we have the last ten minutes of the film, followed by a 'distributed by 20th Century Fox' at the end.

My latest buys all come from David Guest,

A 16mm copy of Nearest and Dearest the film version with the great Hylda Baker and Jimmy Jewell, - I know it's a slightly edited print - but it was great to see this on my screen and I did have a good laugh. I can keep this to show with my b/w copy of Hylda in She knows you know. I am also waiting for the arrival of 2 400ft digests of Murderers Row with Dean Martin and Love at first Bite with George Hamilton.

Sheep Dog - Don't give up the sheep.

Still in shrink wrap when it arrived. I don't have a projector here at home at the moment, but I took a look at it and it seems pretty red, but we'll see. Sheep Dog often have red background, so it might not be that bad.

The only time we see sheep dogs with red backgrounds up here Elvind, is if one of them has just worried a sheep.

Hi Vidar, is this the silent version with Dutch title cards, or a sound version with Dutch subtitles?

Hugh, it is sound in English, so it is okay. But if a Blackhawk pops up, I'll try to buy that

Received the digests of Murderers Row and Love at First Bite from David Guest - both in original packaging - I will screen them later this weekend and let you know the quality - because on initial inspection they look very good.

The world in flames. Three episodes. 3x400' Super 8, b/w sound. Unfortunately the postal service cracked two of the hinges (one side of two boxes). I am gluing them now and hope that works.

I really like world war two documentaries. This series has 32 episodes. 29 more to go :-)

And since they arrived today, I am even more sorry I forgot the take-up reel at the cabin. Or else I could have looked at them on the new GS 1200. Well. Now I have something to look forward to.

Way to go Tim and David on your good fortune, our Elvind, forget the glue, drill a small hole and fit a little bolt, if its the little pivot that gets broken, problem solved. P.S. when I say "our", its a term of endearment, you're part of the gang.

Monday I think my package with some 5 or 6 Laurel & Hardy films will pop into the Swedish mailbox. Nice to extend the collection of the guys. Don't remember titles, so hope they are good

My latest recruit is the Derann feature of Wargames 6 x 400' on 2 near new Elmo 1200' spools. Colour virtually perfect, fantastic sound quality, nice and sharp, has a line or two but still very very happy with my purchase

Nice find once again there Del! Screen shots please?

Always a bonus when a film arrives on Elmo "Jewel" spools, these can now be very expensive without even having any film on them.

Wargames is a great film. I'd love a print of that. '80's charm all the way

I know that 'every home should have one' but I just didn't have a copy of Gerald McBoing Boing ...that was until this morning when my friend the postie greeted me with a parcel and the remark 'another film?'
I remember my Dad having this film during the 60's and it is one of my very favourite cartoons.
Not bad quality either from an eBay auction.
